Job Opportunities at Western Scaffold

SCAFFOLDER (Casual)

Western Scaffold require a reliable, experienced & hard working Scaffolder to join our busy  crew.

Work is outdoors on various residential building sites across Melbourne. Basic Scaffold Licence (or higher) required.

Full time hours with overtime on most days.

 

LABOURER (Casual)

We're looking for a hard working & reliablelabourer to join our fast paced scaffold team at sites all across Melbourne. You will be responsible for moving & handling steel scaffold, assisting the erection & dismantle of scaffold, yard & general duties. You'll need to be fit, crave hard work, think on your feet, able to work within a team & follow instructions.

Previous scaffold experience isn't required, although is an advantage. You may have previously been a brickies labourer or looking for a job to help you keep fit. Many of our scaffolders started off as a labourer, so you just never know where this role could take you.

 

Above positions require your Red Card, Drivers License and own car. Forklift & HR Licence an advantage.

Western Scaffold states our commitment to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all persons (including employees, contractors, and members of the public) at our workplaces.

Western Scaffold's Workplace Health and Safety Plans address those workplace health and safety issues applicable to any of our projects.

The plan has also been prepared to help ensure compliance with all relevant Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practice, Advisory Standards and Australian Standards as applicable ini those Australian States and Territories where work may be conducted.

An understanding of the contents of the Workplace Health and Safety Plan are mandatory for Western Scaffold supervisors and workers at each project. It outlines the responsibilities, procedures and actions required of all workers and other persons at a workplace so as to achieve a high standard of workplace health and safety whilst working on a project.

All scaffolding will be erected in accordance with the Western Scaffold erection manual. Method statements will be followed where the manual does not cover the erection of the particular scaffolding.

It is expected that all persons at the workplace will accept their responsibilities and obligations as prescribed in the Workplace Health and Safety Plan.

This will enable them to ensure compliance with all procedure outlined in the Workplace Health and Safety Plan.
